weekly summary: Oliver gets even more in trouble as he keep on working for the pickpocketers.

weekly thought: Oliver in the novel seems he couldn't get out of the group. This is related to being in a gang. Well being part of a gang to me is like getting a death wish. From what i heard when a person joins a gang, it's very hard to get out. If a person want out then surely they will be in a serious situation. I heard that the only way to get out is death and because of this, a lot of people die for no good reason. People who want to join a gang, are people who is searching for companionship (just like Oliver). The need for companionship drives people to accept groups/communities that accept them in return. People who join will easily be corrupted and manipulated. People that once were kind and gentle souls are turned into wicked human beings. I know because my sister had a friend once. Her friend used to be a nice guy but after he was accepted in a gang, all that change. He became a bad person. He ignored everyone including his old friends and his family. Unluckily for him, he was shot by a rival gang member. He died at the age of 18. I use this as a reminder why people should not join gangs. Not only does it hurts you, it also hurts other people who deeply care about you.
